Day 2 Tokyo

Chris and I started the day with a morning walk through the streeets and managed to find a nice coffee on the way. After the kids were out of bed we all headed out for a big day of exploring Tokyo, mainly on foot and trains.  We walked through  Yoyogi park and on to Meiji jingu shrine which was very serine despite the crowds of people. A really beautiful place.  Then we were in a fashion district called Hirajuku. We found a delicious meal of gyoza - very tasty.  Next spot was to wander down the busiest street we have ever walked down. Totally crazy- filled with shoppers and sprukers and crazy outfits. After a bit of shopping we retuned to our traditional Japanese room for a well earned rest...and then more delicious food at a tempura place. Absolutely delicious.   So far we are all amazed by Tokyo. The sights, the smells, the people, the food - there is so much to take in. And we've only been here a day!!
Total steps today = 35000.  Will need more gyozas tomorrow 😜
